Interviews are won in preparation, not in the room. Preparing only after the invitation arrives leaves you cramming instead of confident.
Build your story bank early
Prepare five short stories from your studies, projects or work: a challenge you solved, a conflict you handled, a failure you learned from, a result you’re proud of, a time you led. Most interview questions are one of these in disguise.
Practise out loud
Answers that sound clear in your head fall apart when spoken. Rehearse with a friend, a mentor or in a mock interview — and ask for blunt feedback.
Research like a consultant
Know what the organization does, who its customers are and one recent development. One thoughtful question about their work outweighs ten generic ones.
Prepare your logistics
Test your connection for virtual interviews, plan your route for physical ones, and prepare your questions the day before — not the hour before.
